Job Description:

As a Senior Data Architect, you will lead and manage a team of (software and data) engineers and architects. You will be in charge of overseeing all phases of a large data migration project, ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget by moving our applications from AWS to GCP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all phases of the data migration project from AWS to GCP.
• Supervise a team of software and data architects, ensuring project delivery within deadlines and budget constraints.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Design and implement robust, secure, and scalable migration architectures.
• Develop and review architectural designs to ensure compatibility and efficiency of proposed solutions.
• Conduct regular meetings with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure alignment and effective communication.
• Collaborate with partners to identify and resolve technical and operational challenges during the migration process.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure smooth project execution.
• Perform detailed comparisons between AWS and GCP products and services.
• Evaluate and recommend best practices and tools to ensure a smooth and efficient migration.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of architectural designs, migration processes, and project progress.
• Prepare detailed reports for stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Ensure transparency and accountability through regular status updates and performance reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in data architecture and migration projects, with a strong focus on cloud platforms.
• Proven experience with AWS and GCP, including hands-on migration projects.
